This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes permitted and prohibited uses of the Hyranse platform, API, MCP integration, and related services (the "Service"), operated by Artashes Stepanyan Individual Entrepreneur (trading as Hyranse). This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Permitted use
You may use the Service only for legitimate professional recruitment, including:
- identifying candidates for genuine open roles on behalf of your employer or your clients;
- reviewing profiles and building shortlists for those roles;
- contacting a candidate about a specific open role, after you have reviewed their profile and decided they may be relevant, where you have a valid legal basis under applicable law;
- exporting shortlists for internal hiring review within your organisation, within your plan limits.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- make hiring, rejection, or other decisions about a candidate based solely on AI match results, without a person reviewing the candidate's profile;
- send marketing, sales, or promotional messages of any kind, or any message that is not about a specific open role;
- send the same message to many candidates who have not been individually reviewed for a specific open role;
- contact a candidate again after they have asked you not to contact them;
- build, append, enrich, or validate contact lists or marketing lists, or combine data from the Service with lists obtained elsewhere;
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, or share candidate data or Service access with anyone outside your organisation, or offer candidate data as a standalone dataset, marketing list, or data-broker product;
- conduct personal investigations, stalking, harassment, or surveillance unrelated to hiring;
- discriminate against candidates on protected grounds or break employment or anti-discrimination laws;
- scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically download data from the Service beyond your permitted usage;
- use bots or scripts to access the Service, except through our documented API within your plan limits;
- train machine learning or AI models on candidate data obtained through the Service without our prior written consent;
- circumvent usage limits, access controls, security measures, or candidate suppression;
- break the terms of any third-party platform when using information obtained through the Service;
- process candidate data without a valid legal basis under applicable data protection law.
3. Human review and your responsibilities
AI-assisted features suggest profiles for your review. They do not make hiring, rejection, or employment decisions. You must review every profile yourself and decide whether to contact a candidate.
When you access candidate information through the Service, you act as an independent data controller for your recruitment activities. You must:
- have a lawful basis for processing and contacting candidates;
- in every message to a candidate, say who you are, which role you are contacting them about, and how they can ask not to be contacted again;
- provide Article 14 privacy information to candidates where required;
- respond to candidate rights requests you receive directly;
- keep candidate data only as long as necessary for your recruitment purpose and delete it when that purpose ends;
- keep exported files inside your organisation and protect them with appropriate security measures.
4. API and integration use
If you use our API or MCP integration, you must:
- keep API keys confidential and never embed them in public client-side code;
- respect rate limits and credit allocations for your plan;
- not expose candidate data through public endpoints or to people outside your organisation;
- use contact lookup only for candidates you have shortlisted for a specific open role;
- use the API only for the recruitment workflows described in our documentation.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action, including warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or termination. We may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities where required.
7. Reporting violations
To report a violation of this AUP, including unwanted messages sent by a Hyranse customer, email support@hyranse.com.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
